Pokemon Kicks Off 10th Anniversary

Nationwide Tour, New TV Special, English Release of 8th Movie
Pokémon USA has announced plans for celebrating the property's tenth anniversary.
In April, a one-hour TV special, Pokémon: The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon will debut on Kids WB
Later in the year, the eighth Pokémon movie, "Lucario and the Mystery of Mew," will be released on home video.
Starting on February 25, through July 22, the Pokémon Journey Across America tour will visit numerous cities across the United States. In addition to a Pokémon tournament, the events will include numerous on-site activities including live costume characters,, a Pokémon Trading Card Game play area, exclusive character downloads for Pokémon video games, and a 10th anniversary lounge to offer fans a look back at Pokémon through the years.
Tournament winners will be flown to New York City in August to compete for the championship title at the Pokémon National Video Game Championships.
