Leiji Matsumoto joins ACCS board of directors

Leiji Matsumoto was selected to join the board of directors of Japan's Association for Copyright of Computer Software at the association's February 14th general meeting. At the same meeting Kenzo Tsujimoto, president of Capcon, was selected as the chairman.
The ACCS's mandate includes dealing with copyright infringement of digital Anime and Manga content as well as computer games. Matsumoto is well known for his vocal support of the Anime and Manga industry in terms of copyright protection.
Matsumoto's term on the board of directors will run for two years, from March 2003 to February 2005.
