Upper Deck Aquires Yu-Gi-Oh CCG

Upper Deck has aquired the right to the Collectible Card game to Yu-Gi-Oh!, the succesor to the Pokémon madness in Japan.
Upper Deck Announced that it aquired the rights to produce the Yu-Gi-Oh! CCG. The first cards will see a release in March of 2002. The Yu-Gi-Og TV series has just recently started airing in the US on the WB network.
The first Upper Deck products will be starters and boosters. There will be two pre-constructed single player starter decks, each featuring 47 commons, 3 foils, a rule book, and a "duel field." The two "themes" for starter decks will be Yugi and Kaiba. Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon Booster Packs will each have 9 cards per pack, including one foil card, for an MSRP of $2.99.
