A new 90 minute anime Theatrical feature entitled 6 Angels is currenlty in production stages in Japan. 6 Angels, a sci-fi space epic reminiscent of Melty Lancer, is scheduled for release in Japan in January.
The production team includes many Anime veterans including:
Director: Akira Kouson ( Macross, YAMATO 2520, Rock Man )
Script: Yasushi Hirano ( City Hunter )
Character Designs: Hiromi Kato ( Tenshi ni Narumon, Violinist of Hamelin )
Mecha Designs: Kobayashi Makoto ( Venus Wars, Gundam ZZ, Giant Robo )
Layout and Original Concepts, Series Supervisor: Akimoto Yasushi
