Shelly Hong has asked us to mention that the The Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival is looking for submissions in the Anime category (as well as other categories).

The Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival invites submissions for its fourth annual film and video festival to be held November 23-26, 2000.
We are looking for feature films, short films, videos, documentaries, comedies, animations...obscure experimental films with or without sound, complex political rants, ironic chop-socky kung-fu flicks, deconstructivist mockumentaries, minimalist Generasian X slacker dramas, and anything else that is brilliant, creative, weird, or just plain entertaining.
All films must be independently produced with an Asian/Asian North American in a key creative role. We encourage submissions from first-time and emerging directors. Student films are welcome.
Deadline is August 25, 2000.
Visit our website at www.reelasian.com for more information and an official entry form or contact the festival office at (416)703-9333
