Katsucon announces guest of honor

Katsucon, the anime convention scheduled for the weekend of February 12-14 in Arlington, Virginia, announced in a public statement its guests for its 1999 convention.
Its guest of honor will be Haruhiko Mikimoto, character designer for Macross, Orguss, Gundam 0080, and a slew of others, as well as noted writer of the manga Variance, Marionette Generation and Macross 7: Trash, as well as illustrator for others' works.
Other guests include Antarctic Press artist Fred Perry, Studio Ironcat art director Stephen R. Bennett IV and manager/translator Kuni Kimura, Aria Press' Colleen Doran, The Right Stuf's Jeff Thompson, and the omnipresent Steve Pearl.
