Metal Gear Solid Fan Remake 'Shadow Moses' Project Posts 1st Trailer
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
The Unreal Engine 4 has brought countless games into stunning 3D thanks to dedicated fans. The Kanto region from the original Pokémon Red & Blue games was adapted by "Preston Dunagan" on YouTube last week while Mario, The Legend of Zelda and Sonic the Hedgehog have also made the jump into the 3D world.
The group iRam Gamer is working on recreating the original Metal Gear Solid using the same engine. The project is titled "Shadow Moses" and according to its official Facebook page, the group is operating without permission from Konami. They hope to get the greenlight from the company to continue their work.
The Shadow Moses project is separate from IndieDB user Boker's remake teased in October. Like the Shadow Moses project, Boker's "Outer Heaven" project uses the Unreal Engine 4. Boker released a tech demo last week of Zanzibar Land.
