posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
2013's third issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that fans will be able to vote for some of the characters that will be featured in Namco Bandai Games' upcoming Project Versus J PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 "team battle action" game. Fans can vote on the three characters they think are the strongest from the Shonen Jump lineup. Weekly Shonen Jump noted that main characters, rivals, and female characters are all acceptable.
The game's official website will launch on Monday. People can send their votes via postcard to Shueisha via the address listed in the magazine, and 10 randomly selected voters will win PlayStation 3 consoles.
Namco Bandai Games is launching the "ultimate Jump game" next year. Monday's Weekly Shonen Jump features screenshots of the game including One Piece's Monkey D. Luffy, Dragon Ball's Son Goku, and Toriko's title character. The game will allow players to use Luffy's "Gum Gum Stamp," Toriko's "Nail Punch," and Goku's "Kamehameha" moves. The game is a part of the 45th anniversary celebrations for the magazine being held in 2013. The price and release date have yet to be announced.
