posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
The first promo video for Pokémon Fushigi no Dungeon: Magnagate to Mugendai Meikyū (Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinth) began streaming on Saturday. The game is the latest in Nintendo's series of Pokémon-themed dungeon crawlers.
Plans for the game were announced in the October issue of Shogakukan's CoroCoro Comic magazine this week.
In the game, the player turns into a Pokémon as if in some sort of dream. The player then partners with other Pokémon to explore the world. The game features such Pokémon as Axew (Kibago), Oshawott (Mijumaru), Tepig (Pokabu), Snivy (Tsutaaja), and Pikachu.
Pokémon Fushigi no Dungeon: Magnagate to Mugendai Meikyū will use augmented reality technology to allow players scan objects in the real world that will then become "magnagates" that will open up new dungeons to explore within the game.
The game is slated for release in Japan this winter.
