Xseed to Release Sumioni 'Action/Ink-Drawing' Game in N. America

PS Vita game from Tenchu, Way of the Samurai studio to be released in spring 2012
XSEED Games announced on Friday that it will release Sumioni, the PS Vita "action/ink-drawing" game from the developer Acquire (Tenchu, Way of the Samurai, Shinobido) in North America. XSEED plans to release Sumioni: Demon Arts for the PlayStation Vita in spring 2012.
The side-scrolling game has the player fighting enemies by making ink-drawing-style brush strokes to clear obstacles, launch attacks, and summon a Phoenix and other "ink gods" to come to your aid. Acquire will release Sumioni in Japan on February 9, 2012.
Enterbrain's Famitsu posted a gameplay video for Sumioni in November.
