Danbōru Senki Boost PSP Game's Promo Streamed
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The Japanese game developer Level-5 began streaming a promotional video for the updated PSP game Danbōru Senki Boost on Friday.
The original "near-future, plastic-model-building role-playing game" titled Danbōru Senki shipped in Japan on June 16. The player controls tiny battle robots called LBX (Little Battler eXperience) as they battle it out in dioramas built from reinforced cardboard.
Danbōru Senki Boost will update the original game with new actions such as dual weapons, a special attack function, an auto battle option, and a revamped ranking battle and cooperative boss battles. Players will be able to upload data from the first game and use the game's multiplayer feature with those who own the original game.
The game will ship in Japan on November 23, priced 4,980 (about US$65) at retail and 4,480 (about US$60) in download form.
Level-5 filed a "Little Battlers eXperience" trademark for videogame, animation, plastic models, comic books, and other related merchandise in the United States on July 21. Dentsu Entertainment USA announced in August that it is bringing the Little Battlers eXperience (Danbōru Senki) television anime series to the United States.
