Mayonaka TV Ad Runs for Persona 4 Teaser Site

A late-night television commercial ran in Japan early Sunday morning and revealed a www.mayonaka-tv.jp website. The personal computer version of the site leads to a Flash-animated countdown that will end on Monday, April 11 in Japan. A JavaScript file for the site is hosted at http://www.sonymusic.co.jp/Animation/, the website of the Sony subsidiary Aniplex. The Japanese mobile phone version of the site listed "Persona 4 Animation" and a link to "other Aniplex works," but no longer does.

The Persona 4 game shipped for the Sony PlayStation 2 console in 2008. Its predecessor, Persona 3, shipped for the same system in 2006 and inspired the Persona -trinity soul- television anime series in 2008.
