Gundam fans recreate "Jetstream Attack" battle scene by playing mobile suits
YouTube user PaulSoth has uploaded a video featuring Gundam fans acting out a three-minute fan film. The fans dressed themselves in clothing with added Gundam-style markings, and then they recreated the anime's "Jetstream Attack" battle scene between the RX-78-2 Gundam (with other Federation units) and the Zeons' Black Tri-Stars team in MS-09 Dom mobile suits. The first Mobile Suit Gundam anime premiered on television in 1979.
In the 31 years since the first Gundam series aired, many other anime, manga, and videogames have been released in the franchise. In 1999, Sunrise, Bandai Visual, and PoleStar Entertainment produced a live-action film titled G-Saviour. The movie primarily featured Canadian actors, and Bandai Entertainment licensed it for North America in 2001.
