Trivia:
The first One Piece movie to be released in the USA.
Dispite FUNimation using the names 'Zoro' and 'Miss Merry Christmas' for both the English dub and subtitle track, the DVD credits use the 4Kids names 'Zolo' and 'Miss Groundhog Day'.
For the TV version of the movie, new scenes remaking the Whiskey Peak Arc were added to the opening of the film.
