In the mid-credits sequence, a purple/green Joker thug car from the 1989 Batman film is seen parked on a Gotham City street before it is wrecked by a horse-driven Batmobile.
The first Batman anime film in 10 years.
The Joker having a mustache might be a tribute to the first actor to portray him Cesar Romero. Who also had a mustache which he refused to shave off for the role so the clown makeup was painted over it during his time on the 1966 TV show and movie.
