You know, I actually noticed that sound problem myself, but thought it was just because of the lack in sound effects.
It seems that the sound is missing in the left rear speaker in Japanese DTS, while in English DTS, the sound is absent from the rear right speaker. Pretty weird if you ask me. I hope Bandai and Manga will try to fix this in the future and possibly replace the one I bought. Other than that though, the soundtrack is amazing and the show itself is very cool. I would recommend you buy it once they fix this sound problem . |

odd how I had no issues with sound on the DTS disc, but on the non-DTS one, there's video pauses, large amounts of artifacts showing up and sound glitches throughout the third and fourth episodes.

What exactly is the problem with the CD? The article doesn't exactly specify what error Bandai made with the OST. Could some out point this out to me so I can be sure to look (or hear in this case) what the problem is?

Correction, it's only the Japanese DTS that's messed up. The English works fine (my wire was loose ). I also need to get the OST replaced... |

Tony K's post only describes what the troubles are with the DVD. I wanted to know information about the CD. Thanks for the link. |

several of the tracks were not pressed correctly and are halved up with other songs, making certain tracks longer than the single song they're supposed to contain.

The CD has a messed up order. Tracks 8 and 9 are linked together as one song ("Velveteen" & "Lithium Flower"). Track 9 is "Home Stay" (which is supposed to be Track 10) and "Inner Universe" is track 10 (which should be 11). Track 12, "Fish~Silent Cruise" is supposed to be one track, but they put the first half, "Fish," as Track 11. It's confusing, I know, but at least they're willing to replace it . |

I see. Thanks for the info.
I'm not sure whether or not I'll be turning in my disc (mainly because I listen to CDs all the way through), but I'll definitely be paying more attention to these problems to see whether or not they are a real hassle. Thanks again, Tony K. |

i have something like that on the DD disc at the end of episode 2. it just freezes and after a while skips a bit. when i tried it on my computer, when it got to that spot it just froze for a bit, then gave an erroe saying that part is unreadable, but the disc appears to be perfectly fine, no scratches or discoloration. i dont know about the DTS disc audio issues yet, dont have my home theatre set up yet. |
