You're not the only Anime hyper.

Short interview, but better than nothing. I hope she comes to Vegas

Interesting interview.
I really like those singers who climbed up to professional career by singing in the internet. It feels like their hard work are well rewarded.

Also, even Japanese can't remember that long title of anohana. I wonder if the overly-longy-long title fad will fade away.

I absolutely love Chouchou's work, I recently made a playlist consisting of all of her past works. She truly has a beautiful voice.

We were severely limited on the time we could spend with the artists for interviews. Some questions were cut for time, but Lantis will have an official interview with more up in the coming days.

Hey, you must respect that guy (?) hardwork to pave his way to become the most hated man in the world. Laughing

Justin Bieber paving the way!

People got popular on the Internet long before Bieber did. And just like Bieber not many of them really deserve the attention they get and just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Although Choucho is most certainly talented and obviously very grateful to be in the position she's in so I wouldn't lump her with them.

It wasn't that great, but it was somehow enjoyable. It could have been way better.

As a teenager, Bieber worked his ass off to get where he is from where he started in the internet, probably harder than she did (tougher climate for teenagers in more cynical, less youth-obsessed West). In this sense, Bieber and Choucho are no different, either they both worked hard or just happened to be in the right place at the right time, or both. Regardless that Bieber later becomes a jerk letting fame get to his head doesn't change the past. (That's why aspiring net artists are following on what he did to get there.)

From many, many account's I've heard he was an ungrateful douche in the early days of his popularity. He sounds less like a kid poisoned by fame and more like an asshole who got famous. In fact, nothing about his personality strikes me as the sort of person who worked hard to get to where he is.

Ya gotta separate attitude from work. A lot of hardworking people are not-so-nice-people; doesn't change the fact that they worked hard to get to be in position to be not-so-nice-people. (We've had bosses like that.)

He was 16 at the height of Bieber Fever and unless he had abusive/uncaring parents, was living in poverty fighting to stay alive for a good portion of his life or lost two limbs and his brother's body in an attempt to bring his mother back from the dead gone horribly wrong I don't think 16 years on the planet is enough to experience true hardships.

Who's talking about "true" hardships? We're just talking about working hard. In that sense, Choucho didn't have true hardships neither (and she still probably had it better than growing up in a single-mother household who gave birth at 17-yrs-old). It's true it's easier to be teenage sensation in Japan than in the West (we're much more cynical about these things and not as much enamored).
