That's a decent cast, though i would have preferred if they retained the original seiyuu which was one of the reasons i enjoyed the Initial D franchise.

I'm not a fan of Initial D, so the only reason I was looking forward to the film was the chance of having Michiko Neya and Yumi Kakazu working again. Neya especially, since Kakazu is still on Doraemon.
Just a personal disappointment. |

they should seriously consider Pendulum. they made good sounds for the NFS series. but then again i too am disappointed with the cast change. Mamoru Miyano doesn't sound at all like Shinichiro Miki! he sounds too tense/emo when doing serious/drama roles. Miki was sooooo laid back. i find it funny Hiroaki Hirata now voices jiji roles. |

I have been an Initial D fan for over ten years.
I will not be watching this movie. If they couldn't be bothered to keep the original cast, I can't be bothered to care about this. The manga is over, so as far as I am concerned, Initial D is over, as crappy as the ending in the manga was. |
