Other than not quite understanding the change of the voice cast, I'm excited. It looks so much better!

That's a decent cast, though i would have preferred if they retained the original seiyuu which was one of the reasons i enjoyed the Initial D franchise.

What's with that song in the trailer? Don't tell me it's part of the movie (ending?). It's awful.

Holy sh!# that cast !!
I'll probably check it out just for the cast, despite not having any interest in what I think the series revolves around, which is cars/racing.

Very excited. I watched Initial D last summer and was quite intrigued by the way the show was done.

Please don't change the original voice cast for Final... please... It's bad enough we have a pointless remake movie series. Did Berserk teach us nothing?

Looks like it's just a rehash of Takumi's first battle.

Since m.o.v.e has disbanded, I wonder if they will use any euro beat music. Initial D and eurobeat go hand in hand.

I'm not a fan of Initial D, so the only reason I was looking forward to the film was the chance of having Michiko Neya and Yumi Kakazu working again. Neya especially, since Kakazu is still on Doraemon.
Just a personal disappointment.

Besides the times passing by, Initial D motorhead friends kinda wane interest post-Fast & Furious

they should seriously consider Pendulum. they made good sounds for the NFS series.
but then again i too am disappointed with the cast change. Mamoru Miyano doesn't sound at all like Shinichiro Miki! he sounds too tense/emo when doing serious/drama roles. Miki was sooooo laid back. i find it funny Hiroaki Hirata now voices jiji roles.

I have been an Initial D fan for over ten years.
I will not be watching this movie. If they couldn't be bothered to keep the original cast, I can't be bothered to care about this. The manga is over, so as far as I am concerned, Initial D is over, as crappy as the ending in the manga was.
