Fullmetal Alchemist has a fantastic dub, so I'm glad they got Mr. Mcfarland to do the dub for this series. It seems like the dub is coming out pretty quickly. Probably in an attempt to still be a part of the Titan hysteria.

Well I look forward to a dub, this is one of those series that isn't too Japanese, so I feel like a dub could possibly benefit it. Get it on Toonami, and they will have a major hit on their hands!

Glad to see that I can anticipate at least one major thing when I go there...come on, Yu Kobayashi or Tetsuro Araki!

P.S., I always find it strange when the big announcement of a convention panel is an event at another convention far away.

I'm thinking this will be on Toonami shortly after the Anime Boston premiere (if Space Dandy really will have 13 episodes, this lines up nicely). McFarland is a fantastic director, and I know this show will have a fantastic dub. With how popular the show already is, I know it will explode when the dub comes out (was FMA this popular here before it was dubbed?).

Well, recently, English dubs have been coming out a lot quicker then they used to. It took nearly a decade for "Dragon Ball" to make it to the states, five years for "One Piece," three for "Naruto," and two for "Bleach." Nowadays, you get them in a year or less. "Space Dandy" and "Gundam Unicorn" break the record for coming out simultaneously.

I'm so eager for the English cast! At least now we know that it'll finally be revealed in a month's time! I know a lot of people on Funimation's facebook post are saying that it's not going to be good, but Funimation has not let me down in regards to a great dub and, really, that's just foolish to say before the trailer even comes out. I feel like some people are just not accepting of a show being dubbed in a different language. I know Funi will treat this one with respect though. I'm excited!

This is actually the first series that I watched completed subbed before it was even dubbed. I mean, I watced SAO dubbed then subbed, and I've watched 2nd seasons of animes subbed when their first seasons are dubbed and stuff.
Anyway, the Japanese voice acting was phenomenal, but I always trust Funimation to put out an awesome English dub that can match it. English seems more appropriate for a show like Attack on Titan also, as the cast of characters are mixed race, and honestly, if any language would survive realistically after the titans come, it would be the most popular second language in the world, but I feel like that statement is kind of arrogant.

This^ Or Josh Grelle, or a miracle happens and Justin Pate plays the role. His performance as the lead character in Dragonaut was freaking phenomenal. If not Joel or Josh, Justin would be my 3rd choice. It's just too bad he went off to go play music with Ringo Starr instead.

Personally i think yuri lowenthal would be a good Eren though him showing up in a Funamation dub is ney impossible.

I'd like Josh Grelle to play Eren, I know he'll do it justice. He's a huge Attack on Titan fan, an amazing actor, and I can imagine him playing the part. Joel McDonald is also a good choice. I'm fine with Greg Ayres, but unfortunately, not many people appreciate his voice. I haven't heard of Justin Pate, will need to check out Dragonaut first.

Anyway, I'm sure this will be an awesome dub. I can't wait for the premiere!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who appreciates Greg's voice. I know the guy before was kidding about Greg playing Eren (I wouldn't want that either), but I still like the other roles he was fit to play in. He's one of my favorite voice actors actually.

Exciting news to hear. I hope this means that Funimation will release at least the first part by the beginning of Fall. I also trust Funimation to create a strong dub. They are generally excellent doing dubs, and they ought to want to treat their biggest hit license in years with care and respect.
