All I need is Yoh Asakura (Shaman King), Momotaro Tsurugi (Sakigake!! Otokojuku), Rikuo Nura (Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan), Kinnikuman (Self-titled), and Yugi Muto (Yu-Gi-Oh!)

So many unexpected entires , this gives hope that we will get even more in the coming weeks , since there are 56 slots in the character screen.
This game is going to be so kickass!

Besides Momotaro, who I'm not familiar with, these are my exact picks as well.
Though I want some Bakuman characters for support!

I consider Momotaro to be the high-school version of Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star (LOL).
Yu-Gi-Oh!, Death Note, and Bakuman are most likely going to have support characters.
By the way, Anime News Network, it's "Kusuo Saiki", not "Kasuo".

Because inclusion in a game like this is a popularity contest, and Dr Slump is the more popular series. It's still a strong seller in Japan, 30 years after its conclusion. It's just more established and famous than D. Gray-Man in Japan.

Because Dr.Slump is much bigger than D Gray man in Japan. It's an easy why.

Thing is, there's already 35 playable and 12 support, making it 47 total. So is it possible that there's only another 9 total Battle & Support? Sure, and you're probably right actually- but a lot of inside sources are saying there's just as many support characters as there are battle characters, so I'm gonna continue to hold out hope for a little while longer.
Also, as the only giant Dr. Slump fan here, YES!!!!!
