Looks cool, but what a dumb title. I mean, seriously, "All You Need Is Kill" is understandably an awkward title, but "Edge of Tomorrow" is so trite and cliche-sounding.

At least they're promoting it. Though with big name stars, guess they have to.

They should've slightly changed it to "All You Need is Killa". I don't know, but that just has a ring to it, for me. |

I know nothing about the original anime/manga for this, but ever since I heard the original title and now it's new one, I've constantly been thinking 'Couldn't they have just changed it to All You Need Is To Kill?' myself. |

Here's the video of the Edge of Tomorrow panel at the San Diego Comic Con with the main cast and surprise appearance by Tom Cruise.

All You Need is Kill sounds like a really morbid Beatles song. Then again, Edge of Tomorrow sounds so...generic. |

Thought that title sounded familiar. There are already at least three books or collections of short stories with the title The Edge of Tomorrow from what I see listed in Wikipedia:
- The Edge of Tomorrow (book by Thomas Anthony Dooley III)(1958) - The Edge of Tomorrow (collection of short stories by Howard Fast)(1961) - The Edge of Tomorrow (collection of short stories by Isaac Asimov)(1985) It's the Asimov book that I remember. Nah, that title's not going to confuse anyone. |
