Excellent Toei, keep these classic series coming up with new life non-stop.

Don forget Rose of Versailles movie, hopefully soon after Saint Seiya and Harlock ones.

Nice. It's always interesting to note the distinction in how live action and animation are made and planned. You almost never end up with various cuts or deleted scenes because you just can't keep shooting or retaking shots as needed. Even if it costs extra film to shoot a scene you'll never use, that's something you can't waste time or energy with in animation.

I hope they won't crop this BD, it seems to be somewhat of a small trend I'm noticing.

I thought the visual aesthetics and animation were really good in this movie, so I really want to see this scene.

The later series did the story more justice, due to having much more time to do so, but unfortunately was mostly visually bankrupt.

As a whole I like Toward the Terra quite a lot, but each version has its strengths and its weaknesses.
