New graphics look so gorgeous. Hope I get into either the PC or the PS3 beta, I can't wait to play.

Graphics, Music, all that looks great. However I think square needs to work on the character's movement... When you turn left or right it reminds me of an early ps2 game. Not a make a break mistake, but something I hope they patch. Still plan on getting it.

What did FF11 peak at? Did they shut it down? I remember enjoying that game back in the day

Not sure when FFXI peaked, but it's still going with 16 servers up. It also has an expansion coming out next year.

According here, FFXI peaked at 600,000 subscribers. Dunno if that's Japan-only.

I think that was a glitch. The other gate opened the other way, so hopefully they'll fix that.

Right now, it looks like the fee will be between $12.99 and $14.99 for new players. Current players who have attained "Legacy" status will have a discounted rate of $9.99.
