Well, you do get a nice art box, and a nice art book to go along with that art box.
I really liked the Toradora Premium set, and the Occult Academy box.
Will probably pick up the Ghastly Prince Enma box set too.

I despise the Anime adaption, but I really want those artbooks so I'm going to begrudgingly buy both sets.

No, they don't. If they overpriced them, they wouldn't sell, and that's not the case.

I plan on buying it. I know that some people think that NIS overprices stuff, but there overall model which if you've ever bought games from them is that they've always done the LE goods deal. Cheaper than say Aniplex, which is whole entity entirely. The only thing NIS is guilty for from what I've been hearing is their translations have been questionable. Especially with Bakemonogatari. And those individuals have been trying to discourage others from buying their products. But you have to decide if you are willing to buy. What folks should be getting on NIS about is making sure their translations are on the mark.

The SRP is still 60 dollars less than Bakemonogatari, and it still contains artbooks and more episodes. Now if you want to factor in quality of the show, that's a a whole new aspect, but just comparing the sets objectively, I think we know what the new face of overpriced looks like.
