This looks AWESOME. Here's a rough translation: (I'm not sure what some of the words mean)

Naruto: "16 years ago, the masked man unsealed the Kyuubi. My mom and dad died to protect me and the village. The Kyuubi is now sealed inside of me."
Madara: "Uzumaki Naruto, I will take the Kyuubi from you!"
Narrator: "Now, the masked man has created a new world."
Sakura: "Sasuke-kun!"
Sasuke: (Not sure about this one, help) Ore ga jibun no sato warui no ka?
Hinata: "I'll kill you!"
Narrator: "And then, appearing before Naruto's eyes..."
Naruto: "Dad?! Mom?!"
Kushina: "NARUTO!"
Naruto: "Ehh?!"
Madara: (I have no idea what he says in this sentence, help)
Naruto: "I was always scared that this would be just a dream..."
Minato: "Welcome home."
Naruto: "I'm back."
Madara: (I have no idea what he says in this sentence)
Kushina: "Look out!"
Naruto: "MOM!"
Madara: "It's been 16 years...I'm finally going to take the Kyuubi from you!"
Minato: "My duty is to protect my child!"
Naruto: "and my duty is to protect my dad! My friends, my family, my bonds...I WILL protect them!"

Indeed.

A "what if" scenario is the stuff fans dream of. I cannot wait to see this. I'm hoping it can somehow be as excellent as it has the potential to be. I'd actually buy a Naruto movie on DVD then.

It's not a dream, it's a genjutsu cast by Tobi. Isn't that obvious? Razz

I like Naruto, but I have never really wanted to see one of its filler movies until now. Sasuke's a playboy, Hinata's a bad@ss, and KUSHINA'S ALIVE (oh, and I guess Minato's there, too)!

I really hope Viz gets an early jump on this one...

Thanks for the translation, TsukasaElkKite! It may be rough, but I'm impressed (hope someone dubs the trailers soon).

I might actually have to watch this.

I've only been keeping up with the video games so I'm behind with the actual anime and manga (stopped watching it/ reading it around the Sasuke Rescue Arc of the original.)

But dear god, this actually looks like it's taking care of my issues so far. Mainly, Sasuke.

This seems to be a play on how things would be were Tobi's Moon's Eye Plan to succeed...

Is Kishimoto then, being that he played such a crucial role in this film's writing, implying something about the future of the manga? Razz

So this basically the Naruto version of "For the man who has everything"? Don't get me wrong, that story was amazing. But it feels like Kishi is going into his comic collection for ideas.

I'm looking forward to it.

Does Hinata really have Nana Mizuki as a voice actor in this movie? She sounds very different. O.o

I think Sasuke says something like "Is it bad i returned to the village?"
As for Madaras third line, i think he says something like "Love makes one even weaker."

I could be wrong though.
