No trailer yet? I really want to know if these films are remakes or recaps.

First two movies are recaps, presumably with mostly recycled animation.

Third movie is a new work, presumably a sequel, but we don't really know for sure.

I hope one of the supposed recap movies will be like episode 10. I would love to see more of spoiler[Homura's attempts to save Madoka. Maybe even perhaps involving telling the story of Madoka saving that cat.]

Ugh... I am severely annoyed by recap movies, but I heart Madoka enough to grudgingly see these.

I wonder how long they'll be, given that the runtime for a 12 episode series minus OPs, EDs, and previews is just over 4 hours. Two 120 minute recaps wouldn't leave anything out, and that would be completely pointless.

I will still buy these even if they are just recycled animation. I can always use more Madoka in my life.

Do you have a source to confirm this?

I still don"t like this project one bit. I would rather see Farewell Story animated.

News from posters and such coming out with this news has suggested some very slight character design changes, like hair accessories and skirt hems. I haven't seen the confirmation pictures yet, though. We still don't know if it will have recycled (but cleaned-up) animation or if it will be reanimated.

If they are releasing so soon, I'm guessing they have recycled quite a bit, though I would love it if they were anything like the Nanoha movies. I also believe that, even if they use recycled footage, they will be adding some new scenes to tie into the third film.

Kind of intriguing how both recap movies will be released just a week apart from one another. One the one hand SHAFT and co. can draw out the hype longer if they release them further apart. On the other hand ninety-five percent of fans will watch each movie within the first week and it may be a lot easier to book theatres for two weeks straight rather than two one-week releases.

And yes, I will watch and buy the two recap movies even if most of the animation is recycled and little has been changed. It can't be helped, I'm a big fan.
