China makes a knockoff.

Should I even be surprised? It's just comical at this point (unless you own a copyright).

Not surprising, but i do wonder how much money has already been put into this. I bet the owner/money supplier feels pretty silly

True that, and this news doesn't surprise me it has happen before. Also I've seen bunch of bad knockoff coming out of China:

The One Piece theme park is no different, hell China even tried to make their own Disneyland, it was later abandoned.

No problemo. Soon they'll make a One Piece knockoff and make an unauthorized theme park of such knockoff.

The article makes it sound like they're continuing building it anyway....yeah, if so, they'll get in more trouble then they're already in.

This bootleg park will probably feature characters such as "Luffie, Zono, Nani, Choppar, Robine and Ussep".

Funny thing about these are, if their buyers look for accessories to replace missing parts, they can't find those here! They're S.O.L. outside China!

China is king of the pirates! The Old Silk Road is replaced by the Grand Line! Laughing
