I remember how Deen did this "Can't be seen on TV" thing with Kore wa Zombie manga volume DVDs, and it was no more ecchi than the TV show. I'm calling BS.

Maybe they just mean it can't be seen on TV because it isn't aired there.

Could be, but it seems a bit repetitive to say these are OVAs bundled with the manga and then say they cannot be seen on TV... since OVAs can't be seen on TV to begin with. |

The manga started out with promise but it never went anywhere and I lost interest by the 3rd or 4th volume.

Yes, and that reason is marketing with bullshit. These "too hot for TV" lines are complete fabrications and they have never once lived up to the "hype". It's just a way to get people more interested in the home media release. |
