I don't know scale values very well, but wouldn't it be 30:1, not the other way around? 1:30 would mean it's a miniature replica of the controller, in which the controller would probably be a few millimeters wide.

Yes, you are right. I'm used to scales from working with RC Cars for a little bit. This controller is a 30:1 scale replica. |

Actually I'm fairly certain the allowed the patent to expire, and that is why you see so many bootleg nes systems, sometimes in combo with the snes (which I believe they also allowed to expire). I am not certain if this is accurate though. Pretty cool controller. I would love to see the world's largest n64 controller. I am fairly certain it would be classified as a weapon. |

Just today I was here and made a post about the NES, what are chances of an article turning up about the NES this very day?
Great to see that there still is people that know about the NES and it's controllers. Those were the days where video game systems and it's controllers were made in where most video games come from, Japan. Not elsewhere, similar to now and days. |

Patents can't be renewed, so once they expire they're public domain. So NES/SNES knockoffs are okay (patents only last twenty years), but the games are still under copyright. |

Nothing has been unveiled, it was already displayed in May 2011 at the market in Delft, just some kilometres from where I live. It's just that only a guy from the Guinness World Record was attending now.
