Well the guy is a master at dark fantasy, but that tagline sure sounds... odd. Will probably be on the lookout for this anyway.

Oh yeah, Elfen Lied exists, and we still never got the manga over here in spite of how many other manga we got that nobody asked for. I wonder if it really was as bad as everyone said...

I've only read the first couple chapters...but the art is absolutely horrible All the characters look like they're wearing paper-doll clothes or something... |

Well, at least his girlfriend's already dead, so there's less room to fit in any oh-so-tragic rape backstory.
Hopefully. Maybe. Probably not. |

I could be wrong, but I believe it was Nononono. I know it was after Elfin Lied. |

I wish Elfen Lied would get licensed.

ADV Licensed the series a while back. Though now that their six feet under like Geneon and CPM , the odds of a license rescue is very slim. Though i hope it does get a rescue. HOWEVER WHAT I REALLY HOPE FOR IS THAT THE MANGA FINALLY GETS A LICENSE AND IS ABLE TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE US |

Yeah, the art looks VERY different at the end from how it was at the beginning. Even the horns have a different shape. The story drags a bit and some characters were added for no apparent reason (spoiler[only to be killed in the next chapter, like Nyu's brother]). I can definitely see why it wasn't licensed. And yet, lesser works have been. |

Quite true. The originally poor drawings dramatically improved as the manga progressed, transforming into the more modern and professionally touched-up look not so unlike the anime. The character design of the girl in the preview image is a lot like the design stylings of at least the last half of the manga series. Hope this'll be a good manga... thought the Elfen Lied manga was fairly well done, in the end. |

Sounds like a yandere story to me. Yandere is the current flavor, so I can't complain.

"Dark fantasy of pure love", eh? So, more rape I'm guessing. I mean, considering Nononono managed to fit 4 attempted rapes into a story about a ski jumping, this time it will actually make sense.
