Nine million actual paying anime customers in Japan, out of a population of 128 million. Pretty good number for me.
The United States has a population of 308 million, wonder how many of those are anime customers. Whatever the number, I think Japan will still have us beat.

Every time you post in this subject, I can't help but think you're a CEO from a publishing or distribution company.
They make the same stupid comments as an excuse for failing sales while shutting down services charging people $2 for DRM-encoded anime episodes and wonder where the paying customers are.

Well it's safe to say it's over 9 Millionth!!
I had a feeling a similar comment might be written, so I wanted to be one who wrote first in this instance.
On topic though, wow way to go Animax. Got to say 9 million subscribers is a ton of clients and is not easy to accomplish either.
