Wait, wasn't Vagabond supposed to end this year? Truely a shame. Hope he gets to finishing it soon.

Brain and heart tests? Is it a blood pressure issue or something?

First off, I hope he feels better. It's the right thing for him to take care of his health and I get why he might need a break from a series he's worked on for over ten year, buttttt.... dag nabbit! I'm almost at the point where I won't start a series unless I know it's been completed.

Does anyone know if REAL is on hiatus as well, or is Takehiko Inoue still working on that one?
I noticed in the encyclopedia that the latest Japanese release for REAL was dated "2008-10-29 (Japanese volume 8)." Since Viz published the English translation of volume 9 last month, does anyone know how far along the publication in Japan really is? |

i only just recently picked back up vagabond--earlier this week!
looks like i'm putting it back on the shelf and not reading it again. hope he feels better, but the problem almost seems like he just doesn't have the enthusiasm or energy to keep going with both series and chose REAL instead of vagabond. as a fan of REAL, i'm cool with that. i think vagabond is probably tougher to draw from the looks of it, too. |

That would be a most regrettable decision. It's a fantastic series and regardless of what happens with the ending it would be a real shame to miss out on reading it. |
