Actually, that's a really weak debut for the KnT movie.

I wonder why it's so bad. Surely the people pushed advertising.

I mean, Beck for instance in its debut week made $7,356,339 on 316 screens for an average of $23,280 per screen.

KnT on the other hand in its debut week made $2,770,613 on 285 screens for an average of $9721 per screen.

A KnT manga volume release sells many, many more copies than that of a Beck volume sold.

So I'm perplexed. Did the KnT fans just not show up? Does it not work in liveaction? I expected this movie to be a big hit... but it flopped. Strange.
