So we won't have to hear it more than 2 episodes, right? I can deal with that.

No idea who "Grammy-nominated Colombian singer J Balvin" is, but after checking out Kargalgan on the solo-leveling fandom website, I'm interested in seeing/hearing the character in action this weekend.

Can't really picture how he's going to sound at all. Feels like weird stunt casting.

Is this their attempt to copy Netflix’s trend of casting on-camera talent in their dubs?

Yep, it does look like it. But to be honest, I've already seen Mexican and Latin/South American TV/movie stars already taking up voice acting when audio drama podcasts have started to become mainstream in the last few years like in the case of Batman: Unburied/Desenterrado, Wolverine: The Long Night/La Narga Noche, Case 63/Caso 63, and probably other audio drama podcasts that featured A-list or mainstream movie/TV stars lending their voices to them in that region. So it was expected that something like this could happen for anime.

Speaking of audio drama, I'm still waiting for audio dramas based on anime/manga to get English adaptation given that Batman: Unburied got 8 different language adaptation (one of them is Japanese) and came out on the same day as the original English-language version.
