No official word, but every season except season 1 has been around 25 episodes long. I'd expect the same for the last season.

There are 32 chapters left to adapt so 25 episodes would be a pretty comfortable length for that.

Nah, 25 episodes is way too much for remaining chapters (and technically, last season wasn't 25, but 21 episodes - 4 recaps were not the part of season itself and included just to not leave the timeslot empty for weeks) if they not go to animate them with One Piece level of pace, so it most likely will be a shorter than that.

From a bookend standpoint, I wouldn't mind a 12-13 episode send off.

Let's [expletive] go!

Hope they expand the epilogue a bit too.

Hopefully when they are done with the main story they go back and animate Vigilantes. It seems like I've been waiting forever for that adaption.

Finally, a long-running anime series that doesn't end with a movie.

YAI, NO BS MOVIE ENDING!

(They are totally gonna make a 3 movie compilation but whatever).

Anyways, there is no enough material for 12 episodes left, even if they add the skipped content so they are adding some filler.

Which is fine, I liked the ending but I needed more of it.

Doing 25 episodes may be easier than you think. I am certain that the author was exhausted and wrapped things up as quickly as possible in order to preserve his physical and mental health. He has now had a break and can now provide the anime committee with some quality "canon original" material that didn't make it into the last few manga issues. This especially has to be done with that complete disaster of an epilogue.

Again, it's "easier" only if they go full One Piece level of pace with filling the half of episodes with nothing but the original content and fill-ins - because with the regular pace of MHA (3-4 manga chapters per episode), all remaining material they have at hands is only enough to make around 11-12 episodes at most.
