Whoa, can't believe it's finally ending.

I saw it and while I have some gripes, I'm still happy for how it turned out.

Thank you so much Hori for bringing this gem to us, good luck with your future endeavors. Very Happy

Oda had a great tribute to Horikoshi in the latest OP chapter, recreating a fan art submission of Smoker that Horikoshi drew as a teenager two decades ago.

Still disappointed that the father will always remain a mystery.

Awesome, I'd been hoping for an artbook!

Now the question is: preorder the Japanese edition or wait for Viz's release (which is almost certainly gonna happen)...

I'm more disappointed Deku has never set foot in the United States despite having a line-up of attacks named after US cities and states.

I find hilarious that is you watch carefully in Deku's home you can see hints of his existence.

A third umbrella here, a third pair of shoes there, but we never see him.

I mean, yeah, he's working overseas. He's still alive, just rarely in Japan.
That said, it's fairly obvious that Horikoshi wanted to make Inko into an Aunt May figure, but had to come up with a reason that 1. She would be a constant presence in her son's childhood, and 2. That Izuku would always go to her, rather than his father. The easiest way to accomplish this was to have Izuku's father out of the picture, but still part of the family and making enough money that Inko could live as a housewife.

I can't say the series was without flaws or I had criticisms for the direction it took or certain story decisions...but I still really enjoyed myself and the journey of Deku and Class A.

Congratulations for reaching the end, Kohei Horikoshi.
