IG likes to keep things in-house and BRZRKR just released a novel version of the comic. There will be 4 takes on this story after the live-action film comes out, not counting the fantasy setting spin-offs. Keanu Reeves will be in his 60s by then. Old Man ZRKR.

Technically, the novel is set in an alternate universe of the main BZRKR universe. I bought it but haven't had a chance to read the book. I enjoyed the main comic, but the story felt a little reminiscent of one of the back stories of the comic Powers. Some of the one-shot comics have been a lot of fun though.

Not to be confused with Berserk, B: The Beginning, that song from Clerks, and Wolverine. Rolling Eyes Laughing

Genuinely excited for this because I loved the comic, but I've actually enjoyed the one shots after the main run more. I'm hoping by them exploring the world of this comic, that means they'll be exploring side stories similar to the one shots. There's a whole lot of potential to go so far beyond what we currently have.

I also liked the fantasy stuff more than the main canon. Ron Garney was great on Daredevil but his art for BRZRKR is too muddy. Sad Keanu made it on a cover and into the comic:

Berzerk 1980 is a famous arcade game btw.
