At first I thought you were kidding, but after checking out the official announcement I was indeed surprised. Shocked

I wonder what Gene Simmons would think of this. He would probably want a cut Laughing

Corpse paint is common among bands like that, even though KISS used it. (Even if they used goofy stuff like stars later on... Bleah). Plus Alice Cooper used it often around the same time that KISS did.

Anyways, I'm hoping that with this we get some real death/black metal instead of some mislabeled heavy rock stuff.

haha Sweet!

I've been enjoying DMC manga, and am a big fan of the Death Note genre; manga, movies and anime. So I am totally stoked for this!

This one definitely goes to 11.

What do you mean by later on? I don't remember Paul Stanley using a different design for his face paint. If he did it had to be before '72 because that's the earliest I've seen him using that design.
Just because other bands have used face paint before hasn't stopped Gene Simmons from trying to sue them. He tried to sue King Diamond a few years ago and also tried to sue a movie because a characters' face paint resembled his which he has copyrighted.

Very, very good. This just went from total disinterest to having my complete attention. Search out Amazing Nuts and you'll see why.
