Well, good luck to those who would work on the dub if it happens...

Borderline porn is literally saving Sentai/HiDIVE since those are the only ones that Funi isn't even bothering to pick up.

I had a feeling if anyone was going to license it, it would probably be Sentai.

Like I said before, if HIDIVE could stream Qwaser, they could stream this.

This isn't borderline porn, it practically is porn, Revenge porn like those revenge porn b-movies that plagued the vhs market of the 80's and 90's. (Oh god now i really am starting to feel old).
I Really hope Sentai have actually done their hw regarding this series and does not do a 180 like funimation did with interspeciews reviewers last winter. altough i still wonder how the censorship is going to be as this has a TONS of stuff that would be censored pretty much in every episode. Well either way, this is going to be fun to watch in a crazy, so bad and laughable concept bad that is good sort of thing. If the AT-X (supposedly) uncensored version has 25% of the manga's loyalty, then it is best that they prepare to receive a lot of criticism.
Friend, the problems are not the nipples appearing or the supposed ecchi, but the sexual violence used in the series. Just as friendship and companionship are the theme of One Piece, rape for personal satisfaction is the theme of this series. Do you really think it will be accepted today? Imagine episode 1 of Goblin Slayer being repeated for 12 episodes and half of them are the MC who practices it. This is this series. Don't confuse this with Ishozuku Reviwers or Peter Grill, this is more like Death Tube. Last edited by Changeman on Mon Dec 28, 2020 2:20 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Full disclosure - This has nothing to do with the quality of the work, which from what I understand is more about the shock value than similar types of controversies where the show and their controversial moments weren’t intentional. Do not take the following as an endorsement of or a protest against said work.
This was kind of inevitable when the backlash to the series began. Backlash inevitably leads to a counter-backlash of people who will spend their money on a product (in this case, HDIVE subscriptions). Sentai, not entailed in a $1.2 billion dollar sale, and mostly dealing with protests and counter-protests internally from the anime community, probably sees subscription dollars on a hot item that doesn’t fit the mold of the FUNi streams. This is also probably a huge relief for Sentai’s offices, with the very real fear of being boxed out of hot properties by two massive companies controlling most of the anime pipeline (Sony and Netflix), they can get shows with a lot of hype and keep the profits going. Given that CR and Sentai are on relatively friendly terms thanks to VRV, I could see this end up on Crunchyroll, but that is not a guarantee at all. |

I do think that with the IR incident, Kadokawa (the licensor for this show) probably learned their lesson to disclose those kind of stuff to licensors during negotiations. If Sentai do the same and pull-out, it will be a big bad PR for them and Kadokawa might not do business with them in the future. I bet that Sentai will initially stream the censored version of the show, with the uncensored version streaming later (or even close to the BluRay release), just like with what they're doing with Domestic Girlfriend or What the Hell are you Here, Teacher? They might even have a limited streaming window for the less censored version just like with Kandagawa Jet Girls. |

Animoon Publishing got the license for German-speaking regions and it will receive a German dub, which I would have never dreamed about. "Redo of Healer" erscheint bei Animoon Publishing (German)[/url] |

I am happy that my favorite company is still able to license new shows before they start streaming. At this point I welcome any anime that can make money for Sentai, even if it is violence porn.
