This is cool and everything, but I live in Orlando, FL so it really doesn't affect me. Does anyone know a site where I could check if this FUNimation channel is available in my area? Very Happy

Call Bright House customer service and bug the crap out of them till they get it. That's the way it works.

FUNimation has totally shunned us Canadians.

I do remember a while back, there was a rumor that the FMA movie could somehow be released in Canada .... didn't happen ... okay fine ....

FUNimation launches their own Channel ... cool .... but once again ... Canada is ignored.

No offence or anything by the way ..... I absolutely love your shows, as I have a great collection and I am a frequent buyer of anime in general.

Basically, I hope you guys decide to venture north .... someday.

That's actually a good idea, I'm gonna do that. How did you know I had Bright House, though? Hax! O_O

Is what we see on the digital channel exactly what the cable views see?

I get it over KSCI 18.3 here in Long Beach

Yes. 24/7 linear is the same on both.

Syndication like ColoursTV is showing several hours of the channel

I'm not seeing it. I'm on Comcast. Does Comcast carry it? I tried that ZIP code search but all it does is time out.

Yeah, the website timed out for me a couple of times too. I guess their servers must be getting hammered right about now, or maybe their doing maintenance on them or something. But anyways, what's your zip code? I can try doing the search for you since the site seems to be working for me now.

If it's on KHCV, then it should be Comcast Seattle channel 15.

However, the KHCV website still says it is "jewelry television" and sure enough when I go to channel 15 they are right now trying to sell a lovely diamond bracelet. Rolling Eyes

Has the Funimation Channel actually started broadcasting here yet? Or am I just totally confused (wouldn't surprise me in the least). Anime dazed

If we do get this on basic cable here, it would really be great! But knowing Comcast, it seems too good to be true. It seems to more likely be the kind of thing they would bundle in to one of their expensive premium packages.

Does this apply only to Seattle? I'm out in Auburn, which is close, but might (proabably) doesn't matter for things like this.

Which sucks. Confused

Big strides, big strides.

I sent an e-mail to the production manager at KHCV (who is mentioned in the press release that was put out about this) asking for some more details. If I get a response, I'll post it here.

You're just jealous they haven't got anyone in Penguinopolis to pick it up yet. Wink

Cable operators keep telling me they don't serve "giant floating fortresses of doom". =/
