I second giving reasons why it's not a good opportunity. Not that I have interest in applying for any of them (They're all outside my field), but you know, a random, anonymous person just saying "Apply at your own risk" isn't going to deter many people who wouldn't be written off from the positions in the first place.

Short of being a suit, have you ever heard of a job in the industry (non-union) that pays well for the behind-the-scenes work?
It's a chance for someone to break into publishing, after all. Be glad at least you heard about it instead of it being "grapevine-only" job ops. Friend of a friend, you know? If you don't want the job, fine. Someone else does. But don't go raggin' on 'em just because they may or may not pay well. |

As for me, this isn't about being paid well. There are other things besides money. You can definitely rag on those things. |
