The cable co. in our area recently upgraded stations and we now have Anime On Demand (AOD). Can anyone tell me if this is the Anime network that is talked about or is there another or do they have a station for anime. e.g. G4techTV has anime on there channel every night and stuff on G4techTV On Demand.
The problem with AOD is that I'm watching Angelic Layer but the new episodes are posted every 2 weeks and 2 weeks is too long to wait for a new episode. Same thing for all of the other shows on AOD.

Well there are two Anime network channels. AOD the one that I have and "AN". "An" is a 24/7 anime channel which hasn't reached all the states. You could call it there beta test. Only 6 or 7 have the 24/7 channels. Most of them are in central america. Im not sure if you'll need to buy this channel or what type of tv server it'll be on (cable satelitte etc.) If you do need to buy it I will definately get it. O and when it first comes out they'll probaly have a lot of re-runs but I can't wait.

Ok, The Anime Network has essentiall two parts, the AnimeOnDemand and the 24/7 AnimeNetwork. AoD is pay per view, and of course the Anime Network is about $7 extra a month.

Just a question here, would the Anime Network be included in a digital cable package?

Buy or rent the DVD if you don't like to wait. Then you can watch it on your own time.
