I have just seen a few episodes of Outlaw Star, yet, and I don't want to have it spoiled (so please use spoiler tags if necessary...).
About the artwork in the ending theme, what is its connection with the series? Is it depicting some of the featured characters, or is it just some 'universe specific' themes? It's intriguing me... Can also say that I love the ending music. |

From my understanding the artwork shown at the end of Outlaw Star is of Mefina but done by a different artist (name fails me at the moment). From my understanding its just concept art for the show. And doesn't have any real connection to it outside of it depicting a character.

Ah, Melfina was my first guess as well. But I was not sure...

The ending art looks nothing like melfina. It has nothing to do with the show at all. I think they were just trying to go for an aesthic look for the end. Well, that was my take on it.

I agree. She totally does not look like Melfina. I can't ever imagine a character's final design differs so much from that in the concept stage. And to me the style looks like it was done by the same artist anyway. And the feel is a lot more fantastical rather than sci-fi. |
