Note that at AX, they said they were only going to re-release the first two volumes in one book, and see how that flies, before deciding whether or not to reprint the rest of the series.

That makes me sad, because I was ready to buy it after just reading the 12 pages.
I've seen Astro Boy a few times, from the old one dubbed on AS to the new Astro Boy on saturday morning. But I've never read the full story. I will now...hopefully.
I'm not to cool with the print as it goes attitude, because I prefer to buy several beginning volumes all at once. I'm also not sure that I want to invest in something that never may get finished.

enurtsol: I don't think it was meant the same way in that pic. In Astroboy, it's more a reflection of the innocence of children that they can go around without being concerned about how they dress. [Sort of like how Astro only wears tights.] Of course, I'm just coming up with a bs analysis, so...

I know, I know. But t'was an innocuous start nonetheless!
(The succeeding generations just took and ran with it to prurient directions, heheh.)

Do I spot a bit of fanservice on this article's accompanying picture?
