I was searching through the TRSI sale and discovered a pre-order for the Burst Angel manga. The encyclopedia here has it listed too. While I'm quite pleased to see it licensed, I'm more than a little perplexed as I don't remember any licensing announcements recently from Tokyopop.
Did I just miss that or is this a case of "license announcement by retailer?" Also, have you have had a similar experience where you didn't realize something was licensed until you saw it listed on a retail site or sitting on a store shelf? |

It was entered by a non-staff user as "Publisher: TOKYOPOP." I've replaced it with "Licensed by."
Neither do I. The announcement was posted more than a month ago on WizardUniverse.com.
All the time. With the amount of manga we have here, it would be ridiculous for licensees to announce each and every new acquisition. |
