That seems really cheap to me, 30 manga volumes, let alone LE for $105?

The "limited" part come from the special box. Kodansha was careful not to say that the manga volumes themselves are limited editions, since the volumes will be the regular 420-yen ones. 420 yen times 30 volumes equals 12,600 yen.

At US prices, that be would very cheap for 30 volumes. Say Hajime no Ippo were sold a $10 a pop (not including tax). At that price, 30 volumes would cost $300, barring any discounts and whatnot. This set is priced at 1/3 of that.
