Still hoping this gets a western cinema release, but seeing how it isn't a mega popular shonen series, I will be surprised if it happens before the end of the year.

The series is fairly popular, so I don’t think we have to worry about it not getting a western cinema release. The Quintessential Quintuplets and Kaguya-sama: Love is War films got western cinema releases (at least here in the US) and they aren’t mega popular shonen series.

The Quintessential Quintuplets is in Weekly Shonen Magazine and a top 5 most popular romcom anime of the past 10 years. Kaguya-Sama Love Is War is ironically only seinen because it lacks the crudity that shonen expects. Now Dragon Maid is actually seinen, but if Liz and the Blue Bird - a spinoff film from a far less popular Sound! Euphonium series whose themes and target demo couldn't be more different from the likes of Dragon Ball Super Broly, My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer Mugen Train films that you are likely alluing to - got a U.S. release then this won't have any problems.
