Okay, that epilogue tease is just full of Xeno references spoiler[like the Ares being an Uroboros, the strange phenomena being Annihilation Events, and the Ghosts turning people into salt like the Gnosis in Xenosaga]. Takahashi is cooking up a lot there

I put in 130 hours in the original, and I didn't even do online! Hopefully the added in story content gives us an answer for that cliffhanger of an ending spoiler[(Everyone should be dead! But their android bodies and human consciousness are still working!?! WTF is up with this planet Mira!?!)
]. If not an answer hope for a sequel on Switch 2. Be a great 2nd or 3rd year game of the system's lifecycle. While XC3 is the best overall in terms of balance of the story, characters, map and battle system, XCX has the best world to explore and battle system. Too bad the story is the weakest in the entire series along with the weakest cast (and I love Elma and Tatsu!). |

I abolutely can't wait to play this one again. Xenoblade X is possibly my favorite Wii U game. With all these enhancements, additions and necessary QOL changes, it's only going to get better!

As much as I like the original game I'm going to skip out on this just because I played it so much in the past. I'll watch a video of the new stuff because I don't feel like replaying everything all over again since it' such a huge time investment.

I say the QOL changes and graphical boost are a huge boon and thus the one of the big reasons to revisit this game!
It also neat that Hiroyuki Sawano is coming back for new music so I can't wait to hear the new tracks. Now the "main story and characters" of the game aren't as sweeping or in-depth compared to the numbered Xenoblade Chronicles games so I'm curious if the new story chapter is going make up that at the very least. |
