Is there some weird backlash towards PA Works forming in certain corners that I'm unfamiliar with? Just yesterday we had people grumbling about Nanare Hananare looking like it was a pale imitant of past glories, and now it's passive-aggressive snark about their recent (fairly successful) turn towards comedic titles. What exactly do people want here? For them to imprison Mari Okada circa-2010 in a time-bubble and force her to write soppy melodramas for 15 year olds until the end of time? Bribe Hiroyuki Yoshino & Tsutomu Mizushima to start pushing for that mythical Shirobako sequel? Put a gun to Morimi's head & demand he write that third Eccentric Family book so an adaptation can get greenlit? I guess we're now at the point where the generation of fans that appeared around that time have become jaded that the trends have shifted slightly from what they started with. Damn, I really don't need any excuse to feel older than I already do. |

I guessed that just looking at the trailer. I enjoyed PAW's less crazy works like Shirobako and Sakura Quest more than Kongming. |

I'm also just confused on what "the new" P.A. Works is supposed to mean at all in this context. If they're getting angry at them making CGDCT shows.... have they not watched anything by P.A Works? |

Neat. I'll definitely check it out as they usually do good work. Hopefully we can get a second season of Kongming after this

I like the character expressions in the banner art (video thumbnail). Don't usually make note of that sort of thing, but there's a certain specificity to them that stood out.
