Okay so he's got another story going but when is he going to finish Black Lagoon once and for all. Last time I checked he was on "hiatus" then came back. I guess military style manga can really drain you.

Really nice designs for that image. Looking forward to it.
But yeah, also always looking for more Black Lagoon as well.

Last Summer he wrapped up the Wild Card arc -with chapter 101- then promptly went on hiatus. It only took nine years for Hiroe to finish this last arc,so he's not quite at GRR Martin's level of leaving his readers hanging...

Black Lagoon is the type of story that doesn't lead itself to definitive endings. At least not the kind I'd want to read. The best you can hope for is the end of an arc and an idea that "life goes on". The type of employment provided by the Lagoon Company does not lead to happy retirement. The only real ending other than life goes on it the death or ruination of the main characters as in Cowboy Bebop.
In this connection I should point out that Dutch is likely in his early to mid 70s.

I love Kotetsu Yamanaka's coloring. She's a great illustrator.
